Le Cap Haitien

It was exciting to work on this project in Haiti since I have Caribbean roots. I’ve visited Labadee, a nearby resort town to Cap-Haitien on the north coast of Haiti. It was nice to work on something like a warm holiday location since we were in lockdown in the dead of winter. We’ve been working on this hotel concept proposal since December. The design was based on a similar Marriott hotel design in Belize City, Belize since the shorelines were nearly identical. We adapted the overall concept to the local constraints specifically the nearby airport and seawall. The renderings will be used in an investment package to attract investors to this project and others in an ongoing effort to rebuild Haiti from the recent natural disasters. Check it out.
