It’s the subtle details that make all the difference. For this project , I paid attention to textures details and based the look on physical photographic samples. How the light hits the surface, how light bounces off the surface, reflection, bump, alembic, displacement etc… all were carefully tuned to match real world lighting scenarios. I tried a different technique for adding that dramatic wet look which looks great for reflections of any building. It took me all day to tweak the asphalt and masonry alone. I’m pretty proud of how it all turned out… without crashing or slowing down my system. Detail work makes dream work! Stay tuned for the renderings.
