    Indianapolis State Museum

When I get sent to conferences, I usually take the opportunity to immerse myself in the city and its local vibe. I take evening walks with camera in hand shooting like mad at anything interesting. This is another HDR example of the Indiana State Museum's main atrium which opens out onto the "Canal Walk"

    Washington D.C. Subway HDR

Shot was taken at Metro Station (many Flickr users passionately disagree) on top of the bridge spanning opposite lines. Used standard HDR (High Dynamic Range) photography technique here. No tripod just handheld so I let the software do its magic. For some reason this is one of my most popular pics on Flickr? I don't think it's that special!

    Empire State Building, Manhattan, NYC

This HDR photo of the Empire State Building was taken from the Rockefeller Building’s Top of the Rock observation deck. I hung out there before, during and after sunset where city lighting dramatically changes the image mood depending on the position of the sun.

United Airlines underground walkway at Chicago O'Hare airport designed by Helmut Jahn. A long tunnel with a moving walkway, it offers a kinetic sculpture of light and sound. The dynamic walkway displays a variety of shapes and choices for viewing angles and cropping.

    Alexandria Bridge, Ottawa Panorama HDR

The Royal Alexandra Interprovincial Bridge is a steel truss cantilever bridge spanning the Ottawa River between Ottawa, Ontario and Gatineau, Quebec. It is known locally as both the "Alexandra Bridge" and the "Interprovincial Bridge". This bridge shot was a series of panoramic images stitched together using 3-exposures to produce an HDR image. A total of 16 images were used to produce this image.

    Ho’okipa Beach, Maui

One of my favourite islands in the world is spectacular Maui. Ho‘okipa Beach Park is located on the north shore of Maui, Hawaii. It is perhaps the most renowned windsurfing site in the world, The waves here are largest during the winter, and break across a system of reefs that extend across the bay. Ho'okipa is ideal for windsurfing because of its large well-shaped waves and strong winds. The name Ho‘okipa means "hospitality" in Hawaiian. Notice the surfers' scale (bottom right) in the water in relation to the wave size!
