    École Catholique Sainte-Anne Élémentaire

The École Catholique Sainte-Anne Élémentaire pushes the boundaries of 3d architectural software and hardware capabilities. This multi-year institutional project encompassed every technique used in 3d architectural rendering. From image compositing, wireframes, ambient occlusion to photo-realistic renderings and animations. In a nutshell, we deployed all of our tricks and techniques we’ve learned in over 15 years on this project. 3d renderings were used to validate canopy entrance designs, grading, use of space and existing site interfacing.

  • Spruce Needles Golf and Country Club

Spruce Needles Golf and Country Club

The clubhouse of the Spruce Needles Golf and Country Club is located in Mountjoy Township just outside Timmins. The building overlooks the beautiful Mattagami River. The previous structure featured a split level building with two entrances, one leading to the lockers and the other leading to a public lounge. A redesign was proposed extending the building footprint as well as extending the outdoor / indoor patio while increasing second floor space for the restaurant. An elegant metal pitched roof capped the redesigned structure. Several design variants were produced in black and white as well as full colour. These variants included multiple covered entrances, deck re-alignment and pro shop re-location. Final 3d still renderings and animations were used in fundraising campaigns.

  • West Parry Sound Health Care Centre

West Parry Sound Health Care Centre

The Health Centre offers a wide range of essential services including Acute Care, Chronic Care, Emergency and Ambulance Services, Health Education, Wellness programs and Community Outreach. The West Parry Sound Health Care Centre extensively utilized 3d technologies from concept to final design and marketing materials. Landscape engineers provided detailed 3d elevation coordinates which were integrated into the complex site plan’s approach road and parking lots. A vast array of interior, exterior, cross sections, sunlight studies and even animations were produced to client's contentment. The physical (now built) building looks exactly like the 3d renderings.

  • École Élémentaire Catholique Saint-Joseph

    École Élémentaire Catholique Saint-Joseph

The École Élémentaire Catholique Saint-Joseph production began soon after Collège Boréal was nearing completion. Lessons learned from Collège Boréal were applied to École Saint-Joseph to increase efficiency. New hardware and software permitted even greater flexibility and capabilities. High resolution vehicles and people were added to exterior renderings which were not capable due to memory limitations in previous productions. Sun studies were utilized to confirm south and west window shading assembly effectiveness (which they did). 3d interior aerial floor plans were created to showcase the internal overall flow patterns.

  • Custom Residential Concept

    Custom Residential Concept

The client requirements for this custom residential project only required black and white conceptual 3d renderings. This "cottage" residence is located on a site that dramatically slopes towards the lake front. The design maximizes the sight lines looking towards the lake by the large windows and elevated deck. I would like to recreate this home in full color sometime soon!
